We arrived here just after noon. We were worried at first about the docks and the drive was very industrial but the park is nice.
After hooking up, laundry has to be done so that was first order of business. We were waiting for the next shuttle to take us to the French Quarter. Upon walking to gather the dry load of clothes, guess what I see a few lots down....
I'm like holy sh.t look who pulled in. There goes to the park lol! The Follow That Bus the Bove Family had arrived. We caught up on where we've been and where we're going. It appears that both our families are heading to Austin, TX. We might have a convoy on our hands lol!
Then the shuttle to the French Quarter had arrived. We were off.
Here are our friends who arrived that same day at the park at our drop off point in the French Quarter.
This guy didn't really help with pushing the stroller; he just stood there ;p

Amy was enjoying the walk down Bourbon Street.
Two grenades are better than one.
From hugh ass beers, Willow scored some beads, and street drummers.
The kids were getting tired. Ellery had a look of 'don't take my photo' the whole time so there is only one of him. We've extended our stay another night so I will have more of the family tomorrow.

YEP, LOOKS LIKE YOUR HAVING A BALL.. ALL BUT ONE.. ELLERY DOESNT LOOK TO HAPPY TO BE THERE. JUST A BAD DAY FOR HIM I GUESS. KEEP UP THE FUN STUFF...
Yeah, he wasn't happy at all..too crowded and loud that time of day. Tomorrow we'll take the early morning shuttle and I think we'll find more kid friendly stuff to do.

YAY AUSTIN! We don't have a blog yet but we live here and rent out our place occasionally staying in our conversion van. After doing this a few times with a toddler we've decided, nope not the time for us. We'll wait until our little one is about 5 or so. Staying put here for maybe 3 more years. We live about 1 mile from the downtown whole foods so if your in the area and don't know what to do or where to go, send an e-mail! Would love to meet some like minded people! I've got facebook so you can see who we are, lol! Happy travels and maybe we will see you in austin!
