As part of Ellery's homeschooling, that day's study was about Native Americans. Mind you the internet was down for over a week and as usual, a late posting of the visit. It's hard to believe that we have been in Taos since June-ish and had yet to see this historic place. So much history here dating back a thousand years and it was here all along for us to enjoy and ponder

As always, love the shots. Thanks for sharing.
GORgeous photos!
It is an amazing place to see, try to go when they have a dance or feast celebration that is open to the public. Most of the pueblos are open on their feast days so you can watch the dances, Taos attracts the most visitors so sometimes it is nicer to go to one of the quieter pueblos. This is a calendar of Native American events http://www.santaana.org/calendar.htm I found your blog about a year ago and started reading but havent been on in a while, I am so happy to hear you have settled in Taos. I moved there from Orlando a few years back and completely fell in love with the area, we now live in Los Alamos, I miss Taos... :(
I am looking forward to catching up on your new life here... enjoy the snow :)
